Is this no win, no fee?

Yes. You pay nothing unless your claim is successful. If successful, a success fee applies of up to 30% plus VAT if the matter settles before court proceedings begin, or up to 40% plus VAT if it settles after proceedings have started, calculated on the amount recovered. A cancellation fee may apply outside the 14-day cooling-off period. Please refer to our Service Agreement for full details.

Am I eligible?

If you took out PCP or HP car finance between 2007 and 2024 and were not told about commissions paid to the dealer or broker, you may have a claim. It only takes a minute to check.

The FCA estimates an average payout of £829 per eligible agreement. If you had more than one finance agreement, you may be able to claim on each one.

How long will a claim take?

Timelines are currently uncertain. The FCA's original implementation deadlines have been suspended while four legal challenges to the scheme are heard in the Upper Tribunal. The FCA is planning for a Tribunal decision in mid-November 2026 at the earliest. If the scheme proceeds from that point, lenders then have three months to assess existing complainants, so the first payments are unlikely before early 2027. We will keep you updated and give you a realistic estimate once we have reviewed your specific agreement.
